What I Said About This Layout:
I know, it's a big graphic just to use for a past layout, but, it's cool and I like it, so there! ^_^ This was the first layout for the brand new nonchalant.nu. It featured the White Queen from the X-Men comics as part of a crossover event with my fellow goddesses (see the mgi links on the main page or the links page). We're planning another one in February, so, watch out! ^_^

Title: Snow Bunny, Yukito-san

What I Said About This Layout:
Another big graphic. Yay, graphics! This new layout for the upcoming new year AND new millennium featured Yukito from Cardcaptor Sakura. I really liked tha main page layout for this one, though I personally felt it was a little short on creativity on the rest of the pages. However, other people really liked it and thought it was very cute. Thanks to them! ^_^

Title: Dream Bishounen Style

Nonchalant.nu Version 3
(Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image)

What I Said About This Layout:
The month of love was the setting for another goddess crossover, this time featuring our favorite bishounen (japanese term for young, good-looking boy). My bishounen of choice was Elios from Sailormoon. I colored the black and white line drawing myself, and even pushed my techie know-how when I made a flash movie. It took a lot out of me, so it'll probably be awhile before I ever attempt that again. ^_^

ANIMEted Butterly

What I Said About This Layout:
While on vacation in California for Spring Break (no, I'm not in school anymore, but my roommates were on the break, and hey, I'm always up for a vacation), I came across these cute anime-style butterflies in a vending machine at a diner. I was being a crazy woman asking everyone for quarters at 2 AM, but I managaed to get a whole set (which was 15). I couldn't resist using them for a layout, though I wasn't able to use all of them. Maybe one day. ^_^

Title: Riding the Pony

Nonchalant.nu Version 5
(Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image)

What I Said About This Layout:
The current layout features the classic American car -- the Ford Mustang!  Why, you ask? Well... because I recently purchased a 2001 Model after the unfortunate accident that left me without a car (didn't you read about it in my blog??!! ^_^).   Mine looks almost exactly like the one used in this layout, though the color of this picture doesn't do the True Blue color any justice! At first glance it looks like a normal navy blue, but when you look at it a certain way, there's this certain sparkly color of dark purple that just makes me melt.
I even put a short little vignette about it in my ViewMaster blog.   And for those of you wondering, yes... my new car does have a name. HIS name is Julian. I find it... ever so sexy... and pretty. *ggls* That's just me though!

Title: MAGICal Snow Angels

Nonchalant.nu Version 6
(Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image)

What I Said About This Layout:
The current layout features Hikaru, Umi and Fuu from the Clamp manga Magic Knight Rayearth

It's also a wonderful anime (which I have only seen the first season, and it has a nifty twist toward the end). This image is taken from the second art book.

I liked the angels and also the whole snow thing, so how could I NOT use it for a winter layout?

If you've never seen the series, I highly recommend it (though, if you see the OAVs, be cautioned, they're weird)!

Title: (Lladro) Porcelain Fantasies

Nonchalant.nu Version 7
(Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image)

What I Said About This Layout:
Welcome to the newest version of nonchalant.nu, Lladro porcelain style! After a brief hiatus, I decided I needed more individual sites about that which interests me, so I will be moving all "personal" information to a personal page (which right now is only an idea in my mind, as I want to finish the sites I'm currently working on). As of 5/31, my sites are not up, but they soon will be. Keep checking back, or check the Updates page. In the mean time, check out the Blogs or the other links!

Title: Red, White Queen & Blue

Nonchalant.nu Version 8
(Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image)

What I Said About This Layout:
Welcome to the two year (Sept. 1) anniversary of nonchalant.nu! This version revisits my first layout under nonchalant.nu featuring the White Queen from X-Men (this version drawn by Adam Hughes, edited by me and not used for profit in any way; and for all you comic book geeks, yes, I know that the X-Men are no longer going by their "fake" names -- that means this is really Emma Frost), with a little patriotic twist. This is my little way of paying tribute to all affected by 9/11. The brushes used came from digital-goodies. Scroll down for my Sites, Blogs, Links and other Miscellaneous things. Sketch 'n Etch, my layout archive, is now open! As for my other sites, some of them are almost done, while others are taking a little longer than expected. However, I should have some up in the next few days (at least by the end of September), so keep checking back! Thanks for visiting, and God Bless America.

Welcome to the Magical, Autumn-colored version of nonchalant.nu, featuring my favorite witches- and wizards-in-training.

Title: Sensual Agents

Nonchalant.nu Version 10
(Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image)

What I Said About This Layout:
Version 10 of nonchalant.nu features Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan, from the ABC show, Alias. These two are so sexy, I couldn't not use them for a layout sometime, and this is one of my favorite pictures of them -- they just ooze sensuality! If anyone remembers, I used Garner for a Bishounen Hunter Gabby layout not too long ago. What can I say? She's my gal! ^_^

The image was taken from Alias Media (and slightly altered by me), who allows images for personal use, though the original image was from an issue of Entertainment Weekly. Colors used are royal blue and a buttery yellow, with a slight dash of nut orange -- all taken from the image. Font used is Perfect Pixel.

Title: The Goodbye Slayer -- "So long, and thanks for all the vamps...."

Nonchalant.nu Version 11
(Click Thumbnail to View Larger Image)

What I Said About This Layout:
Version 11of nonchalant.nu features Sarah Michelle Geller as Buffy (from the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer). This is my tribute and goodbye to a great show that is one of my all-time favorites.

The image was taken from SMGFan.com and cleaned up by me, though the original image was from an issue of Entertainment Weekly. Colors used are blacks, whites, blood reds and a dash of mossy grays. Font used is Buffied.
