![]() (Versions 1 - 7) Version 1 Date Implemented: November 2000 Title: Kirei to kenshi-teki na kenjutsushi desu yo. ![]() About: Version 1 of BHG wasn't actually done by me, BUT I had to include all of the layouts, so here we are. This layout was actually created by my friend Miri (who now goes by "Tess"). It features some samurai girl, though I don't know from what manga. And I don't actually know what the title says. Please Comment: Version 2 Date Implemented: May 2001 Title: ANIMEted Butterfly Hunter ![]() About: Version 2 was my own layout, and my first attempt at trying to combine design with a journal code (blogger confused me for the longest time). It featured another one of those anime-style butterfly girl stickers that I picked up in California in March of 2001 (I did a nonchalant.nu layout with the red one). Please Comment: Version 3 Date Implemented: September 1, 2001 Title: DANGERous Hunter ![]() About: Version 3 of BHG was my first foray using frames with the journaling code, and I have to say that this is probably one of my favorite BHG layouts. It featured Sydney Savage from the Danger Girl comic book series. I especially love the lip print. ^_- Please Comment: Version 4 Date Implemented: May 31, 2002 Title: Undercover Hunter ![]() About: Version 4 featured Jennifer Garner a la Alias. This is one of several layouts featuring her (I love her). Technically, I didn't make this layout, so thanks to: Miri, for making this layout for me, and Sami, for splicing the image, and working with the HTML and the background! Please Comment: Version 5 Date Implemented: November 3, 2002 Title: The Magician Casting Her Spell to Catch Those Elusive Boys ![]() About: Version 5 of Bishounen Hunter Gabby (BHG) featured Tooka Miyagi's The Magician tarot card. These tarot cards, and a B&W manga can be found in Miyagi's book Tarot World. His tarot cards are beautiful, and the book itself is quite a hot item. Everywhere I find it, it's either out of stock or backordered. Colors used in this version are dark lavender, sage green, black and a hint of peach. Font used is Morpheus. Please Comment: Version 6 Date Implemented: February 4, 2003 Title: Sai You Love Me ![]() About: Version 6 featured the comic-book character Elektra as potrayed by Jennifer Garner in the live-action Daredevil movie. I used Garner in a previous layout of BHG, where she was also draped in leather, only that time as Sydney, from the show Alias. What can I say, Garner's my gal! ^_- No, I'm not obsessed. Why do you ask???? Colors used in this version are light and dark tan, and a deep, blood red. Fonts used were Violation and Luv n Kisses. Please Comment: Version 7 Date Implemented: July 3, 2003 Title: Taking a little break .... ![]() About: Version 7 of Bishounen Hunter Gabby featured art by Stephanie Power (this image, scanned and altered slightly by me, was originally a magazine ad for Wheat Thins -- one of a series of 3 or 4 I believe). This is another personal favorite of mine. She has an interesting style that I thought would work well for a layout. To check out some of her other stuff, click here. (Note: After Version 7, I decided to integrate BHG onto the main page of nonchalant.nu, so no more BHG-only layouts exist.) Colors are a return to earth, with browns and blues. Font used is Merced Please Comment: Sketch 'n
